报告题目：Hypergeometric Functions in Geometric Function Theory

报告摘要： After a short review of hypergeometric functions, we explain how the hypergeometric functions are used to express the hyperbolic metric of the sphere with 3 conical singularities. We will give analogues of Schottky and Landau theorems as applications. Next we observe geometric properties of the shifted hypergeometric functions on the unit disk. In particular, we will present some sufficient conditions for starlikeness, spirallikeness, strong starlikeness. This talk is partly based on joint work with Daniela Kraus, Oliver Roth, and Li-Mei Wang.
报告人简介：
须川敏幸（Toshiyuki Sugawa）现为日本东北大学（Tohoku University）信息科学研究生院教授。1995年获得京都大学(Kyoto University)博士学位，厉任京都大学助理教授、广岛大学副教授、东北大学教授。现任东北大学数学系主任。
须川敏幸教授的主要研究领域为几何函数论、拟共形映射、Teichmüller空间、位势论和复动力系统等，迄今已在《Trans Amer Math Soc》、《Math Z》、《Isreal J Math》、《Proc Amer Math Soc》等国际权威杂志上发表SCI检索论文70余篇。须川敏幸教授具有广泛的国际合作关系，曾应邀访问中国、美国、德国、以色列、波兰、芬兰、俄罗斯、印度等国家。
